Nettie's Ark: Lucy, A Normal Grey Cockatiel, the First Bird to Join Nettie's Ark

Lucy is a female normal grey cockatiel. She was my first bird and the one that got me started. I bought her at a pet store when I knew practically nothing about birds. Her hatch date is March of 1996. She's taken the growing bird family very well and loves both Noah and Sherman. If she had her way, she would be on my shoulder 24/7. Cockatiels can be very sweet little birds and they're great for first time owners. My Red Belly, Sherman, has learned to speak cockatiel. He imitates Lucy's cheep perfectly!

Bobbie Blue was hatched August 12, 1999 and is a hand-fed budgerigar (often called a budgie or parakeet). I got to finish handfeeding him (although he was pretty much done). He eats everything I put in front of him. I'm pretty sure he's a boy because of his blue cere. I had forgotten how much personality budgies can have. He bobs his head when he's happy and has already picked up my tiel's peep and imitates my kissing noises. He puffs up just like the big birds and struts around like he's a macaw! He's a great addition to my bird family, hopefully, my LAST addition! (famous last words haha!)
